A native New Yorker, Amy’s professional foundation was built in the high-stakes world of Manhattan’s financial sector. After earning her MBA in Financial Management from Iona University and a Master’s in Spanish Literature and Linguistics from Middlebury College in Madrid, she held Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses while serving as Director of Operations and Compliance Officer for several respected New York firms.
In 2007, Amy made the bold decision to trade the corporate world for a new life in South America. She arrived in Ecuador with just two suitcases and a one-way ticket—a move that eventually led her to the coastal city of Salinas, where she launched what would become a landmark real estate career.
A History of "Firsts"
Amy’s career is defined by breaking barriers. In 2010, she became the first foreigner to obtain an Ecuadorian Real Estate License (#166-G), a credential she maintains actively today. From 2013 to 2017, she served as the Broker/Owner of the first Re/Max office in Salinas (Pioneer Realty), where she earned three consecutive Executive Club Awards and was the first person in the country to obtain the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing designation.
